It feels like it’s been such a long time since i’ve written on my blog, & I forgot just how much I enjoy it! There’s something so therapeutic about sitting in a little coffee shop with my laptop & latte in hand, writing about whatever the hell I want. Hopefully this is the start of a lot more writing!
I thought it was as good of a time as ever to fill you all in on what’s going on in my world at the moment, a little life update if you like…
So, if you haven’t already seen, I am on another cruise ship (just bigger & better this time). We’re currently in Cadiz, Spain whilst the ship, Oasis of the Seas, is in dry dock. Dry Dock, in short, is basically where they rip the ship apart from the inside out & give it a complete revamp. Right now, I can’t lie, it looks like a complete building site, simply because it is, but in just over 2 weeks time it will all be finished & we will be sailing from Europe over to the US & it’s going to look incredible!
I’ll be performing in two shows throughout this contract, one being a show called One Sky which is a brand new production show Royal Caribbean are doing & it’s an absolute beast but is going to be a complete show stopper! From an (almost) life size plane to all the aerial we do, it’s going to have guests jaws dropping to the floor! And then, the other show, is Cats the Musical which if you know me, will know is my dream show! I could retire a happy dancer after doing this! I play Rumpleteazer which is my dream role to play & I pinch myself everyday because of it!
So theres my little performing update……
You may or may not have noticed, but Kristian isn’t with me this time. No, we haven’t broken up, it’s just simply a show that doesn’t necessarily suit the two of us. I wasn’t even going to attend the audition, but Kristian, being the incredibly supporting & wonderful fiancé he is, was the one who told me to go for it. So we’re spending a few months apart which is difficult considering up until now, the longest we’ve spent apart is 3 weeks in 3 years, so to be spending 7 months plus without each other, isn’t very enjoyable. But he’ll come cruise with me a couple of times throughout & I know it will feel like a lifetime now, but in the grand scheme of things, it’s no time at all & before we know it, it’ll be October 2020 & we’ll be getting ready to say I Do.
Speaking of I Do’s, in 6 days time it will be exactly 1 year until the #MorseWedding. 💒 At the moment, there isn’t too much to update you on. We’re just about to design our wedding invitations, but we’re going a little bit more American & it will all be done on a website (apart from the initial invitation to our guests because we want to keep a little bit of tradition, just with a modern twist). To help save the planet by using less paper & also save our bank accounts, by doing everything via a website, we can really keep a tab on everything. From our RSVP’s, to guests dietary requirements to not loosing track of anything & being more organsied, we believe doing a website is the way to go. There will be many more blog posts & YouTube videos the closer we get, don’t worry.
In our apartment, we’ve added some Oyster White Perfect Fit blinds to the main living area & will soon be adding them to the bedrooms too. Its just helped give us a little bit more privacy, especially on an evening as it gets darker earlier & gives the apartment a nice finish. We’ve added a large gold mirror in the entrance way & will be adding shelves with all the Desenio prints (& then of courser wedding photos) as soon as i’m back (because let’s face it, I get the final say 💁🏻) but again, I will have photos & a new apartment tour going live when i’m home to let you all see the changes.
So there's a little update for you. I am away until early June next year, sailing round the Caribbean & New York. There will only be 3 months from when I get home until the wedding so it will be all hands on deck & a very busy but wonderful time that I will make sure to take you along with me!
Hopefully it won't be too long until the next post! But until then, make sure to follow me on Instagram to stay up to date with my travels!
Have a wonderful Sunday!
